We source green beans directly from smallholder farms in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and the East African highlands. Then we roast them in small lots, bag them with clear brew notes, and stock the manual gear you need to get a consistent cup at home.
This week's roast
Floral and citrus-forward, roasted light to keep the cup bright. We roast on Tuesdays and Fridays in a 12kg drum roaster, so your bag is never more than a few days off the roast date.

We roast twice a week and cup every lot before it goes online. The feedback below comes from people who order regularly, join our Saturday sessions, or just started brewing at home with our starter kits.
"The Yirgacheffe lot is the first coffee that made me understand what floral notes actually mean. I brew it on a V60 with the recipe from the site, and it comes out clean every single time. The roast date on the bag is never more than a few days old."

"I bought the starter kit after a cupping session and honestly the grinder alone changed my mornings. The blend they recommended for milk drinks is balanced, no harsh bitterness. Delivery to Pretoria took two days and the beans were still fresh."

"Their Limpopo single origin is what I keep coming back to. It has a nice body without being heavy, and the brew guide on the product page matched what I got at home. You can tell they actually taste what they sell."

"We started Rich & Rumble to close the gap between the farm and your kitchen counter. Every bag we send out is roasted in small batches, cupped for quality, and paired with a brew guide that tells you exactly what to expect. No mystery, just good coffee done properly."
