We keep the shop open through the week and host cupping on the first Saturday of each month for our regulars.
Online orders are roasted on Tuesday and Friday mornings, then shipped the same day. If you prefer to collect, your order will be ready at the shop by the afternoon of the roast day. We will send a confirmation email once your bag is packed and ready.

Every first Saturday of the month. We taste through the current single-origin lots and blends, and you get to ask questions about roast profiles and brew methods.
Tell us what you are working with at home. We usually reply within one working day, and if you are in Johannesburg you are welcome to stop by for a hands-on session.
We are tucked into a small industrial unit in Johannesburg, where the 12kg drum roaster runs twice a week. If you are coming to collect an order, join a cupping session, or just want to talk brew ratios, this is where you will find us.

We are a short drive from the city centre. Look for the charcoal storefront with the burnt orange door. Parking is available on the street out front, and the nearest taxi rank is about a ten-minute walk.

If you are driving from the M1, take the Crownwood Road exit and head east. We are about four blocks down, on the left. There is usually open parking on Mohlala Flat itself, but the side streets are also fine for a quick stop.
Coming by taxi or bus, ask to be dropped at the Port Anna intersection and walk up Mohlala Flat. The roastery is the unit with the green coffee sacks stacked by the door.
Every first Saturday of the month, 10:00 to 12:00. We cup the current single-origin lots and whatever is new on the brew bar. No booking needed, just show up.
Online orders can be picked up Tuesday to Friday between 9:00 and 15:00. If you need a specific time outside those hours, give us a call the day before and we will sort it out.
