Guided Setup Option

A focused product built around practical decisions and constraints.

The Guided Setup Option is for the moment when you know you want better coffee at home, but the range of brewers, grinders and filters starts to blur. Instead of guessing which pieces fit together, you work through a short conversation about how you actually drink coffee, how many cups a day, what your kitchen counter looks like, and whether you prefer a quick morning brew or a slower weekend ritual.

From there we narrow the catalogue down to a setup that matches your routine. It might be a V60 with a gooseneck kettle and a hand grinder, or a simple immersion brewer if you want less fuss. The point is not to sell you the biggest kit, but to get you brewing with gear you will actually use. We also include a bag of single origin or an espresso blend that suits the brewer you land on, so the first few cups give you a fair sense of what the beans can do.

The tradeoffs are part of the conversation. A hand grinder saves counter space but takes a minute longer each morning. A larger brewer handles guests but changes your dose. We walk through those choices plainly, and you decide what matters more. If you already own part of a setup, we build around it rather than replacing everything.

What the guided setup covers

  • Brewer selection. We match the method to your daily volume and patience level, not to what looks impressive on a shelf.
  • Grinder and scale. The right grind consistency and a simple scale matter more than a long list of accessories.
  • Bean pairing. We suggest a lot that suits the brewer, whether that is a washed single origin or a blend roasted for milk drinks.
  • Brew guide. You get a short written recipe for your specific setup, with the dose, ratio and pour structure we use in the roastery.
  • Roast timing. We roast twice a week, so your beans are bagged close to when they ship, not sitting in a warehouse.

The setup works best if you tell us about your current routine, even if that routine is just instant coffee. That context shapes the recommendation more than anything else.
